At WCC, I believe we try to encourage each other to have patience and to give grace to students and each other. To remember that we are still in a pandemic.
In addition, faculty and staff are encouraged to use the resources that are offered through our EAP and our Teaching and Learning Center.

Good morning all,
I was sorry not to be able to join you at the WCTCCA meeting a couple of weeks ago. It would've been the perfect opportunity to query the membership about something that's been on my mind for some time due to a variety of conversations I've had with faculty and staff. I'm wondering what other colleges are doing around supporting employees' mental health? And have you noticed what is more or less effective about the support that has been offered?
Here at Green River I'm pleased to say that there is awareness and that there are some supports that are offered but I can't help but wonder if there's a contingency of our nearly 1,000 employees who are not availing themselves of these supports and who are, for lack of a better phrase, suffering in silence.
Collective wisdom is where it's at so I appreciate anything you might have to offer.
Hope everyone is doing as well as possible in these challenging times.
