The Faculty Counselor provides advising and counseling services to current students from new student orientation to program completion. This position will assist students in understanding degree/certificate pathways and requirements, and support students identified under academic warning, satisfactory academic progress, and early alert systems. The Faculty Counselor will track and monitor student progress and provide support services to instructional programs that lead to academic success and completion. By providing services that meet the needs of all of our students, including students of color and single parents, the Faculty Counselor will drive initiatives that assist in narrowing achievement and opportunity gaps. Successful candidate will provide excellent service, tackling the barriers students face and how to help students overcome challenges.  Truly meaningful work!
