This legislative task force was charged with exploring minimum system standards for counselor staffing and qualifications as well as to identify some best practices in CTC counseling services. HB 1355 was passed by the legislature and signed by the governor in April 2019. This was the successful result of advocacy from the first ever WCTCCA legislative task force.
