[Wctcca] Good news! HB 1355 signed by govenor!

Dear esteemed colleagues,

I am here to offer good news! Yesterday was a historic day for our profession. After a great deal of work with AFT and our legislators, the governor signed HB 1355 into law. This bill establishes a task force to study the issue of counselor qualifications and staffing ratios. The recommendations of the task force will be used to create a new bill to advance our profession statewide. We are thrilled by this victory and it is a huge step of progress towards achieving a legal mandate on these issues.
