<span style="color:#1F497D">We are on Primo VE. Based on what I have read in this thread, should we all relabel the citation style with code = “apa” to have the description APA (7<sup>th</sup> Edition)?<br>

I have not been in the weeds of citation styles since grad school, but if folks in the know are confirming that the style sheet on GitHub is correctly applying the formatting dictated by the 7<sup>th</sup> edition, I would definitely want to make sure that

 our description matches the style that is being applied.<br>

I was also a little surprised to see that this update made it into the release notes for Primo but not Primo VE. How do we confirm that Primo VE has downloaded the most recent styles from GitHub. The documentation indicates that Primo VE downloads “new” styles

 from the repository before each release, but does it download the entire set. If the code label has not changed, how do we confirm that the updated stylesheet was loaded?<br>

We’re on Primo VE. When we were in discussions here on updating to APA 7th over the summer, someone pointed out that our “apa” (<b>apa.csl</b> file on GitHub) option was already generating citations per the 7th edition. I see the the <title> tag in the code

 was updated from “6th” to “7th” on or around January 1st. <span lang="EN-AU"></span></p>

This is very confusing.  The May Primo Release Notes say “The APA 7<sup>th</sup><span class="x_xapple-converted-space"> </span>edition citation style is now supported.”  From this we are to infer that our so-called APA 6 is now actually APA7 and needs to be

 re-labeled by each institution?    I do wish Ex Libris would be clearer about what we need to know and to do – and asking us to relabel something that they’ve changed behind the scenes is just weird.<span lang="EN-AU"></span></p>
