while the ProQuest record doesn’t. So, even though Crossref is supported for ScienceDirect, the ProQuest record isn’t using DOI when linking to the article. I remembered there were issues with DOI linking to ScienceDirect in the past and found a workaround
on ALMA-L: in the Linking tab, set the “Crossref enabled” to “No” and add “Yes” to the Shibboleth parser parameter field. This way, the Alma link resolver ignores the DOI information in the Elsevier record, and the link goes directly to the article as the
link in the ProQuest record does. It seemed to work for me.</span></p>
