Elena,
I just got a response on a case & I think (a) it might be related to the situation you ran into and (b) ExLibris may issue a fix in the November Alma release.
Case: 06684066: Broken "View this record in MEDLINE/PubMed" link in CDI citation record
I ran across a CDI citation record for something from PubMed that had a link in the Links section way down at the bottom of the Full Record Display. This link was in addition to the link in the View Online section of the display and had our proxy prefix automatically prepended.
Citation Permalink: https://sbctc-seattlecolleges.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/permalink/01STATEWA_SEATTLE/r1rf3a/cdi_proquest_miscellaneous_1902108507
With the EZProxy prefix, the link went to an EZProxy error page.
If I manually edited the link to remove the proxy prefix, I ended up on a PubMed article landing page with metadata about the article but no link to the full-text article.
Ex Libris sent me this update today:
…this is an issue that Development knew about and was recently fixed. You should see the fix to this error with the November 2023 update to Alma.
It will be ok!

Hi Abby:
Thanks. I was looking for Digital Commons. I found this collection, and it says that the proxy is not enabled, so I don't know why it added the proxy in Primo...

The CDI Activation Analysis tool says that this is coming from the Scholar Commons collection, I think. Are you able to find and edit that collection to turn of the proxy?

Hi all:
When we try to find this dissertation in Primo, it gives us a proxy error.
Citizen Action, Power Relations and Wetland Management in the Tampa Bay Urban Socio-ecosystem<https://sbctc-skagit.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/fulldisplay?docid=cdi_usf_digitalcommons_oai_digitalcommons_usf_edu_etd_5138&context=PC&vid=01STATEWA_SKAGIT:SKAGIT&lang=en&search_scope=MyInst_and_CI&adaptor=Primo%20Central&tab=Everything&query=any%2Ccontains%2C%22wetlands%20management%22&facet=searchcreationdate%2Cinclude%2C2000%7C%2C%7C2023&facet=rtype%2Cinclude%2Cdissertations&offset=0>

It is from Digital Commons at Florida State University. It looks like this is coming from the CDI. If I remove our proxy, I can get right to it. Is there a way to remove the proxy only for this specific collection of resources? I do not think that I want to remove the proxy for everything in CDI, correct?
Thanks!
Elena
