We ended up doing the same thing and we just have created a LibGuide (thanks to Lily Kun for that tip and for all of her help with setting this up!) that contains the links to both the first-time setup and the subsequent login link: https://subjectguides.library.skagit.edu/CIS360

It's clunky, but it works...

For anyone curious, I was able to set up one proxied link for setting up new user profiles and use another unproxied link for access to WOIS/CIS360 once users have set up their profiles. I think this is possible because the url in the proxied url is different. Not sure, but it works!

I wanted to follow up on this topic. I used the FormVariable directive for WOIS's new site and it is working the way we want.

If your users are required/would like to create their own accounts to access the site, this will not work for them. I know Lily at SPSCC has figured out a way to facilitate creating individual accounts.

We wanted our students to be able to access the site without having to log in to their own accounts, so I requested a general site login from WOIS, which is a different login from the one for creating individual accounts.

Here is the stanza:

Hi,

Has anyone successfully used EZproxy to successfully pass the login credentials to WOIS with the FormVariable directive?
I've tried to set it up to test it out to see if we could just use a proxied link for new account set up and an unproxied link for general access- this is a long shot since proxy sessions are persistent, but I'd like to try- but it's not passing the credentials.
