Hello all,

We would like to clarify that this matter with the EBSCO Books is not related to the change in their linking method which was applied to their Journal content.
Unfortunately there was human error involved in the change to this linking parameter, which we have now fixed and is being distributed to your Institutions. This process will take some time as the Distribution runs.

I would like to thank Sharon for the tip to resolve the issue in the interim!
For those who made changes to their parser locally, we recommend that you remove the local override after the fix is applied in the coming days, so that you can continue to receive the regular updates centrally.

After the last CZ update on 3.1.22, we encountered a similar problem with the same 'EBSCOhost Ebook Academic Collection - World Wide’. We got this error:

We found out that one letter was modified in the Parser Parameter: The letter *t* replaced the letter *x* at the phrase: dbase=e000xww.

Once we restore to the old Parse Param before the change, we got access to the books again.

We changed the Parse Param from:

We reported that to Ex Libris and asked for clarifications. We are still await for an answer.

We are not using CUSTOMER_ID or OPID in our institution's setting of the collection.

Hi all,

I was away for a fair bit of December so missed the OPID change. This could be unrelated, but the problem I have come back to is with the ‘EBSCOhost Ebook Academic Collection - World Wide’ collection which uses the ‘EBSCO_HOST::netlibrary’ parser. For all books in this collection, I’m seeing this error:

I tested other collections using the same parser, but didn’t get this error. Has anyone else seen this error? I’ve reported it to Ex Libris, but not expecting an answer for a while.
