Hi Wade,

I know a year or two ago we talked about duplicate records in Primo.  They are coming from multiple places. There is a way to get rid of some of them but it had a significant downside. Because of that downside I decided to not de-duplicate Primo records, but I can’t remember what the downside is!!  Do you recall this at all?  I found an old email from EL that mentioned something like you might miss out on chapter-level records for e-books if you de-dup, but I’m not sure if that was the reason we didn’t do it?  This is coming up again because a librarian wants to know why one ebook shows up 4 times in Primo: https://sbctc-olympic.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/discovery/search?query=any,contains,nurse%27s%20pocket%20guide%20diagnoses&tab=Everything&search_scope=MyInst_and_CI&vid=01STATEWA_OLYMPIC:OLYMPIC&mode=Basic  I remember that there is a reason we didn’t de-dup but I no longer remember that reason…
