[Wactclc-alma] [EXTERNAL] Weird Holdings Issue

Good catch, Tria.

The '7 holdings' in this context refers to 7 unique combinations of library + location (temp or permanent) + call number.

Which is kind of confusing if you think about it too much. Holdings is carrying two different meanings. The underlying holdings record in the catalog, vs the physical holding combinations of library+location+call no.

What's interesting is that in this physical holdings display, I  can't seem to expand the list to see all 7 of the physical holdings.

Looks like those are all temporary locations (the little clock or whatever that icon is). Is it perhaps that there is only one permanent location and all those others are temporary?

Hi All,
We have some laptops with multiple holdings under one bib.  When you look at the bib, you get the following:

Notice it says "5 of 7" holdings.

However, when you click on holdings to go into the list, it takes you to a single holdings record (without the list above):

You can go into the list of items, and all of the holdings locations show up - but I am completely lost as to why no holdings records are showing up for the various physical locations.

Any thoughts?
