Thanks, Wade.

When I click “Approve and Order,” I can go and edit the POL, but it is already in “Auto-Packaging” status.  I cannot undo that for some reason.  This is a recent change, and now I cannot package the POLs into a single PO for an Amazon Order, for example.

It’s strange.  I will put in a ticket after playing with it more today.

Melinda,

Do you mean that the POL gets packaged once you click ‘approve and order’ from the purchase request?

I’m not aware of any recent changes there, but I’m not super familiar with that workflow, and don’t see anything in the 2020 or 2021 release notes.

I’d suggest opening an SF ticket to ask.

Meanwhile, a workaround would be to leave out a piece of required information in the purchase request, maybe vendor or price or something? That way, when you ‘approve and order’ the request, the POL will go into review, and you can get it to manual packaging that way.

Hi All –
For those of you using Acquisitions, do you know if there was a change during a recent update?

Previously, I was able to “Approve and Order” from the Purchase request, and then edit the POL (including manual packaging option). This allowed me to package several books into a single PO.

That feature (check box) is now disabled when ordering from a Purchase request workflow and I cannot figure out if it is on my end or an update that happened.

I’m panicking. 😊
