Great news for all libraries trying to expand Open Access content!
The EBSCO eBook Open Access Monograph Collection is a growing collection of 2,700 open access books from the world's most trusted university presses and scholarly publishers. The collection is DRM-free and available at no cost on the EBSCOhost platform, alongside other e-book and database content for library users. The collection will also be available on the open web for users without a library affiliation so that EBSCO can support efforts to maximize the usage, reach, and impact of these titles.

Libraries can activate the collection in ALMA and WMS to facilitate discovery, and/or they may download free, full and robust OCLC MARC records from either ECM or OCLC to optimize the metadata associated with these titles. The open access monographs will be preserved along with other EBSCO eBooks via Portico, to ensure access to this content over the long term.  While the collection acts like a subscription collection, we have placed infinite expiration dates so it will not need to be renewed.

The Collection is FREE and can be requested via an email to ebookinfo at ebsco.com or by replying to me and we can activate it for you.
