Thank you, Lynn. What books do you find most useful for consultation?


I have an edition of the AACR2 anual from the mid-1970s!  I was looking at RDA Essentials on the ALA website. I have a vague memory of seeing a TOC for one of their RDA guides.

Hello Cara,

BTC does not subscribe to the toolkit because I am not doing as much original cataloging as I did some years ago and also, my original records are not contributed to OCLC. I just find a similar record and copy the format. I previously did some FRBR and RDA trainings and I have a few books that I can consult when needed.

How many libraries subscribe to the RDA Toolkit? I only see 6 or 7 colleges on the Orbis Cascade invoice.



I am considering cancelling our online subscription for Grays Harbor, and I'm curious if there are recommendations for other tools.
