[Wactclc-alma] Purdue Inventory API?

The site is already set up with API keys for each institution.

You just need to pick EDCC from the pulldown list to point the tool at your Alma instance.

Those of you who were using it can go ahead and give it a try.

I did a quick test with a list of barcodes from Everett, and they appeared to be processed successfully.

For those of you who may not be familiar with this tool, you can submit a list of scanned barcodes to the tool, and receive an itemized output of what is out of order, is currently marked as LOST or MISSING, etc.

Now that we’re back on campus a little bit, we’ve been returning to some of our more regular tasks like inventory.



We’ve been using API Wade built, but it seems to be giving a 404 error now. Apologies if we missed an announcement on this, but is this API no longer available for us?

As discussed at today’s call, I’ve been working on getting the Purdue Inventory API code running.



I’ve got it ready for testing now. The code is running at:

If you would like to give it a try, please let me know (you can email me offline).



For each institution that wants to use it, I need to set up a unique Alma API key for your Alma instance, so that the program knows which Alma instance to perform the inventory against.
