[Wactclc-alma] Loan Status Notice

If you're using the bulk update due dates workflow to update due dates, then *yes*, the *Loan Status Update* letter will go out automatically.

AS LONG AS... the *Loan Status Update* letter (email version) is *enabled* under Admin / General / Letters Configuration.

The *Loan Status Update* letter for Pierce is currently disabled, probably to prevent a bunch of letters from going out as we adjusted due dates for COVID and for extended patron expiration dates.

Before you update the due dates, just be sure to *re-enable* that letter, and they'll go out automatically.

Quick question! (maybe :))

Does anyone happen to know if renewals trigger the Loan Status Notice letter in Alma? We used that letter in spring when we kept bulk updating due dates, but now we're looking to renew media equipment for students continuing to winter quarter.

We'd like them to get an email when that renewal is processed. If that can't happen automatically, then we'll just manually send them a Borrowing Activity Report.
