If the records are all coming from Alma, you could do it in Alma Analytics with multiple Analyses


  1.  Create an analysis in the E-Inventory subject area with the criteria:
     *   Portfolio Lifecycle = Active
     *   Bibliographic Details--Subjects Contains “Electronic books”
  2.  Create an analysis in the E-inventory subject area with the criteria:
     *   Portfolio Lifecycle = Active
     *   Bibliographic Details—Subjects Does Not Contain “Electronic Books”

Make sure you include the Portfolio ID field in each analysis. The filter on the Bibliographic Details—Subjects is case sensitive, so make sure you have the capitalization correct when you enter the “Electronic books”

I had a question from our collections development librarian, Adrienne. She is working on collections for our nursing program for their upcoming accreditation.



Adrienne has found titles with only the subject heading "electronic books" but nothing about the content, and it isn't just the nursing books.



Can the hive mind give us some ideas of a search or a report to find the titles where the ONLY assigned subject heading is "electronic books"?
