[Wactclc-alma] [External] Bulk Change Due Date

Colleen,

I ran an analysis to report active loan due dates of 3/20/2020 or later, by user group.

The only 3/20/2020 due dates are for students.

And no staff have due dates between 3/20 and 4/1, which is why your update due date job did not pick up any transactions.

(Due dates for staff with currently open transactions start at 4/24, out to 12/31/2020.)

You can see all the due date / user group combos below.

Just FYI, I ran the analysis in the fulfillment area, with a screenshot of the criteria below.

You can use this info to target the desired dates in update due dates job.

Two suggestions:

1)      If you're updating *all* the due dates to the same exact date, no matter whether the patron is student, faculty, or staff, you can leave the "User Group" field blank.  Leaving the "User Group" field blank will change the due date for all patrons.
2)      Set the "To Due Date" to be "06/29/2020."  That will catch anything that has a due date anywhere between March 20 and the end of your Spring Quarter.

Hello all,

I am also experiencing issues when trying to do a Bulk Due Date change. Our IT dept just recently resolved the issue with the student and staff expiry date. When I try to run the changes, I have 0 results. I am wondering if I need to change how I have entered the fields. I am leaving some fields blank (i.e. Material Type), so that it will capture everything. Since I know that expiry date isn't the issue, could someone please tell me what other issues I may be having?

I ran into a similar issue. Check patron expiry dates, if the due date extends past the expiry date, it throws an error.
