Hi Wade:
Yes, we use reporting codes for each librarian in the acquisitions module and that helps us to see how much is spent. However, this method is only as accurate as the data entry, so whoever is processing new orders needs to remember to add reporting codes for the ordering librarian in the POLs.

Here’s a question some of you may be able to help with.

Claire Murata at Shoreline has begun doing some work in analytics, and wants to track and report on acquisitions spending by librarians.

Their fund structure is not set up to allocate or track directly by librarian.

So, the question is, how do you accomplish  ongoing fund spending and remaining amounts by librarian, in addition to the fund level.

Are reporting codes generally what people are using to accomplish this kind of thing?
