[Wactclc-alma] APA 7th in Alma

Here’s the ExL knowledge center page on citation styles:

As Dan indicates, Primo VE leverages the citation styles published by the Citation Style Language project (https://citationstyles.org/).

The CSL files created by this project are used in many other citation tools as well, such as Zotero and RefWorks.

So, most of the citation tools will support a new style like APA 7 at around the same time.

It’s not something I’ve watched closely, so I’m not sure what the lag might be between a new, accepted style and its inclusion in the CSL libray.

I haven't heard of anyone directly working on it just yet. I bet though the new style information will come from CSL, so keep an eye on this file <https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/blob/master/apa.csl> for changes.

Hey all,

Does anyone know when Alma/Primo will have APA 7th in the Primo interface?

We are planning on switching over to 7th as a college in Winter quarter.
