[Wactclc-alma] Course reserve questions

Kirsti,

I don't think so.  We can see each other's reading lists no matter which desk we're at.  We were testing it yesterday and depending on which tab we click, we can see all of the reading lists, regardless of desk.  We can also delete each other's reading lists if we really wanted to, we tested it out when we tested reassigning a list to the WIC circ manager position that showed up on the list of names after clicking on "reassign" a reading list.

One mystery has been solved....the CMST 210 books that weren't showing up in Primo were suppressed from discovery.  Looking at the receiving date, they were reserves that were done when we first got Alma, so I'm sure it was because I didn't know what I was doing.  :)

I still need help with my second question about reassigning reading lists and why certain names are on the list but others are not.

Hi,

I have two questions about the course reserves:


1.        Course reserves not showing up in Primo:  A few of our course reserve classes aren't showing up in Primo.  I can see some of our course reserves in Primo when I do a search using the specific course name (PHIL 215 or NUTR 101), however, when I do a search for CMST 210, the course information doesn't show up or it only shows up when I do a search for the generic info of CMST, not the specific course (like CMST 210).  I've looked at the expiration date for the course, the expiration date for the reading list, etc.  I'm not sure why it's not showing up.  Does anyone know how to fix this and get all the course information to show up when doing a search for the specific course?  All the other courses I've looked up show up like expected; CMST 210 doesn't and I'm not sure why.


2.       When I go to "reassign" a course reading list so the circ person on our other campus can work on it (it's her course but for some reason it was assigned to me), I click on the more options button and select "reassign" but when I go to find the person in the list that comes up, the name for the person I was looking for doesn't show up, nor does my name show up for her if she tries to reassign a reading list to me.  There's a bunch of names on that list that shouldn't be there either.  When I looked into the help pages to try to figure it out, the only info I found that was remotely helpful was that list was based on the roles given to a person.  So I double checked our roles against the roles of the names on the list and the roles are the same.  They're scoped the same, they're not expired, etc.  So I'm not sure why our names (mine and Kim Mitchell's aren't on that list) and all the other names are, even though we're the only 2 that work on course reserves.


Any help for these issues would be appreciated.
