[Wactclc-alma] What is a Recall in Alma?

If a book is requested, it can be recalled-an e-mail goes out to the person who has the book and asks them to return it. That's how it works as far as I know.

We do NOT have recall turned on, though. So I've no idea why/how we're seeing that status.

Subject: What is a Recall in Alma?

Hey all,

I can't for the life of me figure out what "Recall" means in Alma. The fulfillment page<https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Product_Documentation/010Alma_Online_Help_(English)/080Analytics/Alma_Analytics_Subject_Areas/Fulfillment> in Alma doesn't have any definitions, nor does any other page it seems.

Can someone explain what a recall is, in a relatively straightforward way?

Thank you!

Greg
