Kirsti,

Maybe you've already tried this, but here are some things to check on.

In the Electronic Service Editor:
- Activation tab - set "available" to yes, and set "activate new portfolios automatically" to yes.
- Portfolios tab - Add menu item "Add All Portfolios from Community" - also, does anything show up when you try this?

Ryer

Hi Kirsti,

Our IZ record does NOT have a 904. It does have a note at the top of the record that the originating system ID is 995553642700041 - in case that helps at all.

Best of luck. Hopefully some tinkering will get those re-connected. I'll keep you posted if I think of anything.

Ryer

Thanks Naoko, Ryer and Wade for your responses.

We're have a problem with our EBSCOhost Academic Search Complete collection where there are NO portfolios associated with the service level of the collection, meaning we've got nothing to activate. We'd activate the portfolios if they were there, but all 10,556 are missing.

I'd noticed that the Descriptive Record for the collection in both the CZ and our IZ was missing a 904 MARC field that normally shows up in electronic collection records and has a CKB record number in it. I was wondering if this might be related to the problem of our missing portfolios.

Naoko and Ryer-- can you check the Descriptive Record for Academic Search Complete in your IZ and see if it has a 904 field? If so, what's the CKB number in the field?

At least I've confirmed that the problem is only with our collection and no one else's. *sigh*

It will be ok!

Does anyone else subscribe to EBSCO's Academic Search Complete product and have it activated from the Community Zone? If so, are the portfolios for the collection showing up for you in your Institution Zone?

It will be ok!
