>From my understanding yes, it was something you had to request from Ex Libris (presumably through a Salesforce case) but I don't think it's available anymore. Last Friday, Iain Burke at Cambridge sent a message to the Alma-L list saying that they got "a message saying that Product Management had postponed the 'deployment of new Merge Patron Records feature' and that the expected release wasn't known" to which Jamen McGranahan at Vanderbilt University added, "We had it enabled in our Sandbox but then a couple days later they disabled it because Ex Libris discovered it caused some unintended consequences to other pieces of Alma (I don't remember the details). They also came back and said this has been delayed until more development can be devoted to it and there is no ETA on when it might be available again." From what I've seen there hasn't been any official at-wide communication from Ex Libris about it, but I might have missed something, Fulfillment isn't my area.

We're interested in the merge patron function in alma that was supposed to be part of the August release.  We've watched/read the info about it and have the correct user roles to access this feature.  However, we're still not seeing it available under the Admin-User Management options.



Does anyone know when this feature will be available?  There was something in the literature that said you have to contact Ex Libris to get access to this.  Do we have to open a sales force case to get access to it?
