If you want to simply republish 1 record, you can go into the bib and make a small change, save (and then revert the change again, if necessary, and re-save).

Basically, editing a record will force it to republish.

And in Primo VE, no record editing in Alma is necessary, as Primo VE searches Alma records directly, rather than through published versions of the records.

One thing to be aware of  is that unsuppressing is a 2-step process.  You can’t just unsuppress a suppressed record and have it display in Primo. You have to unsuppress the record and *then* you have to run a Publish to Primo job.

Rather than try to create a set of the records you just unsuppressed, it’s probably easier to just keep a logical set of all of your unsuppressed bib records in Alma. Then, right after you unsuppress records, run the Primo Republish Set of Titles job on your set of unsuppressed bib records.

I was really surprised to find out about this extra publish to Primo step at ELUNA last year and, let me tell you, I was not the only Alma customer surprised to hear about this extra step.

Hi everyone,

Quick question, how would you temporarily suppress a record in Alma? We have a display of titles that we don't want to be discoverable or loanable for a couple weeks.
