[Wactclc-alma] course reserves analysis

What we've been able to determine at Seattle is that the Course Reserves subject area in Analytics is completely separate from other subject areas in Analytics. Whenever we try to add data (e.g. call number, barcode) from the Physical Items or Physical Item History subject areas, it breaks Course Reserves reports.

I think there's some kind of enhancement request to include holdings/item data in the Course Reserves subject area. I have a vague memory that it might even be on the roadmap, with a planned date when we can expect it (but I may be misremembering).

If worse comes to worst, you can do an Excel export of data from a Course Reserves report that includes the MMSID, and an Excel export of data from a Physical Items report that also includes the MMSID, and put those into an MS Access file on your local computer to generate the report you need.

Subject: [Wactclc-alma] course reserves analysis

I am trying to generate a list of print course reserves at our Bremerton location, for an inventory/shelf reading, that displays Instructor, Course, Title, and Call Number. I can do a Course Reserves analysis but it won't let me include Call Number. I can do a Physical Items analysis but it won't let me include Instructor. Trying to use data from both types of analyses together makes the whole thing crash. Is there a way to get all the info I need?

I can get the Course Reserves analysis to show me MMS iD so it makes no sense to me that I can't get the call number associated with the MMS iD, especially since I can create a Physical Items analysis that shows me MMS iD and the matching Call Number.

Is there any way to make the Course Reserves analysis display the call number when the MMS iD is not null, using some kind of fancy coding magic?
