[Wactclc-alma] FW: Can't place an order

Hi all:

Is anyone else who is using the Request feature suddenly not allowed to specify owning library/fund and vendor account when placing the request? We've been experiencing this since the update this weekend. Is it a known issue or is there something suddenly turned off that we need to turn on again?

Looking at this today and see parts of the PR form remain greyed out for data entry. The only fields I want to access and can't are Owning Library, Fund, and Vendor/Account. One option, if we all wish to keep ordering, would be to input the info we'd normally include in its own fields into the Requester Note box (highlighted below).

Cons: doing this would create messier data on the back end that we'd need to disambiguate later. Pros: we'd be able to keep ordering to keep ahead of the cut off AND avoid slamming Julie with a bunch of orders at once.



What do you all think?

OK.  That is weird.  This shouldn't make a difference, but Julie came to me yesterday and said she couldn't do an invoice because we had exceeded the allocation amount for MVC Circulation.  I transferred funds from MVC Ebooks ($500) to MVC Circulation.  That should have fixed the problem.  I don't see any reason that could have impacted the ability to place a request, but I wanted Elena to know.

Hello,



We (two have tried) are unable to place a purchase request in Alma.  I can get through to the point of putting in my name as the Requester (other librarian can get to this same point) but can't go any further.  I cannot enter the owning library, etc.  I can see that I am at the correct location, so that doesn't seem to be the problem.



Any suggestions?
