[Wactclc-alma] library closures

Amy,

I do see that the closures appear at the institutional level in the org cal widget.

So my guess is that the library calendars just aren't displaying exceptions set at the institutional level.

But that would be just a widget display issue, wouldn't affect actual due date calculations.

It's also possible that the organizational calendar widget is buggy.

I've never used it, so I don't have any experience with it. But possible that it doesn't pick up exceptions, or pick up changes until the following day.

Also, be aware, if you just changed the calendar today, it's not going to have any impact on due dates of items that have already been checked out.

I made an exception at the institution level (which is inherited by all three of our libraries) that said we are closed for Spring Break from yesterday through 4/1.  But on the Alma calendar widget it still shows the three libraries as open today.  Why is that?  Does the exception just mean that nothing can be due on those days?
