Charly,

STTACC is definitely a positive and empowering experience, and a great networking opportunity. I try to go as often as funding and scheduling allows. There will be 9 or 10 classified staff attending from Grays Harbor.

It would be great to meet you there, especially because I am often disappointed that there are so few other library staff participating.

Charly: I know that Highline staff have gone in the past and enjoyed it, since there aren’t very many local conferences devoted to classified staff. Do you know about the regional contacts: http://www.sttacc.net/regions-colleges/region-contacts/ Maybe reach out to yours if you haven’t already.

Wade: Maybe you could get in there someday as a presenter, since it’s supposed to be for all of the community and technical college classified staff, many of whom work on Alma?
