[Wactclc-alma] Student renewed overdue book from last quarter

For fixed date due dates, as when using end of term due dates, it's easy enough to disallow renewals in the associated TOU, and get the desired result.

Not so easy to selectively prevent renewals for non-fixed due dates.

Sounds like what you really want is to "block renewals if within 2 weeks of a specific date", or something to that effect. That's a use-case Alma is not designed to address.

Hi all,

I'm ten minutes back for summer quarter and already emailing you!

We had something weird happen over the break. A student had a book that was due the last day of the quarter (6/15), her account also expired that day. However, she must be taking summer classes because her account reactivated with the summer load. On 6/18 she received her three day overdue notice, and then on 6/20 she renewed her overdue book using Primo.

Is there anything I can set up in Advanced Policies or somewhere to stop that from happening again?
