Oh, wait. I figured it out. You just click on Download and it saves it as a .mrc and now I can open in MarcEdit.

Hi Wade:

I managed to get this to work, and it seems that I successfully ran the export bib records job on the set that I created. However, now I can't figure out where to go to get the file. Where would it have gone?

You can export the MMS IDs from analytics, and then use that that information to create an itemized managed set in Alma.


1.       Create the analytics report of the titles you want (which you've already done)

2.       Export the MMS IDs from that report into a spreadsheet (you only need the MMS ID column, not anything else)

3.       Make sure the column heading is MMS ID

4.       Use that spreadsheet to create an itemized set (make sure you create a set titles, rather than items), using the "add content from file" method, which is near the bottom of the "add items to set" dialog box.

We need to get a file of marc records within a certain call number range together to export to Backstage Library Works so we can get a quote for a potential reclassification project. How do I do that in Alma? I'm trying to figure out how to create a set, but I don't see where I can do a call number range. I can get a list of titles using Analytics, but how do I go from there to actually getting the  full MARC records?
