[Wactclc-alma] [External] analytics down?

When Analytics has done something like that to me in the past, it usually ends up being because Analytics timed out of my Alma session, even though *I* haven't timed out of my Alma session.

One of the ways you can tell whether Analytics has timed out of Alma is to have an Analytics report saved as a widget on your Alma desktop. If you switch over to your Alma tab/session and you see a sign-in box where your report is supposed to be, then you know Analytics has timed out.

The trick I've learned from the Alma-L list is to:

- close your Analytics tab (you've lost your unsaved work anyways, so you may as well)

- switch back into Alma, perform a search for a user record or an item record *and* open/view the record

- open Design Analytics again

At last year's Technical Seminar, I was in an Analytics training session where people brought up the fact that Analytics sessions time out on a different schedule than regular Alma sessions and they asked the Ex Libris trainer to ask the developers about a fix, but I don't know if there are any immediate plans for a fix.

Nevermind, after half hour or so, it's working again.

Is analytics down? I was editing an analysis and suddenly it won't let me add criteria from some subject areas, the folder just blinks at me instead of opening and letting me see the criteria available in that folder. Specifically I'm trying to add criteria from the Physical Item Details folder in the Physical Items subject area. I've tried different browsers and even started a report over from scratch, and I have the same issue. It was working 30 minutes ago for me.
