[Wactclc-alma] Pop-up Display at Check-In

Hi Keyth,

This is kind of a tough one to answer.  I'm having trouble visualizing what that pop-up looks like.

I'll see if I can set up a scenario in the sandbox.

For now, though, I will say that I am doubtful that there is a configuration for it.  We might be able to configure the message text (still doubtful...but maybe), but almost certainly not the position or size or timing (though maybe we can cause it to require an operator response to continue).

I'll do some testing and get back to you.

In situations like this, it would be helpful to know who the patron was.

Since we don't like to post patron identifiable info to this list (since it's publicly archived), you can send that patron ID # to Shellie and myself.

Hi all.
What area of Alma configuration (or elsewhere) controls the very narrow strip of a pop-up that appears when a patron gets assigned a fine upon the check-in of the item(s)?  It's only at the check-in of late items, if I am correct.  I am not referring to Block or other Notes.  I imagine there's a parameter in there somewhere to configure at set-up that controls that message.
I ask because we think we had an incident where the message didn't come up that the patron owed a few bucks.

Thanks.  I'd give a screenshot but I'd have to check in a late item, and I didn't prepare that scenario ahead of time!
