Stephanie,

You won't see historic fines and fees from Millennium, if that's what you're looking for.

Any fines and fees migrated from Millennium will show up only as a lump sum on the user's record, not as itemized fees.

Also, when looking at a user's fines and fees tab, if you want to see those fines and fees that have already been paid, you need to make sure you select status of 'all', instead of 'active'.

Hi,

So I'm confused.  From the screen I'm seeing and the screenshots shown, it shows that the job for anonymizing loans will run every day at 2300 hours.

The checkbox next to anonymize fines and fees is unchecked, yet we're still not able to see the fine/fee history for students.  I figured this wouldn't get wiped out if the box was unchecked.  Is that not the case?

Do we need to add a fine/fee anonymization rule?  We want to be able to see fine history for an indefinite period of time just in case something comes up.  We have students on payment plans that can take a while to pay and one month is too short.

How do we get it so it anonymizes our loans (we already keep the last person to have it checked out but no further back), yet keep the fine history for fines/bills students pay indefinitely?

You  can also add a Loan Anonymization Rule.  The following example causes loans to be anonymized one month after the loan ended.

Yes, Amy is in the right spot...

Fulfillment Configuration > General > Fulfillment Jobs Configuration

The 'Anonymization' job determines how often completed loans are anonymized.

Steph, Skagit is currently configured to anonymize completed loans each night.

The options are basically to:


1.       Never anonymize (set job to 'inactive), or

2.       Once a day

3.       Once a week

4.       Once a month

Just remember, the less frequently you anonymize loans, the less private are your circulation transactions, since you are determining how long a patron's completed transactions remain visible.

Stephanie, I was doing something else when I came across this, I think.  In the old UI under Fulfillment Configuration - General -- Fulfillment Jobs Configuration, there is a box for "anonymize fines & fees," is yours unchecked?

Hi,

I know we adjusted our fine anonymization rules so we could see the history, but when I look someone up to see the fine history, it's not there.  The person I'm trying to see the fine history for is 835273890.  I don't see anything.  I'm not sure where to go in the configuration menu to change the anonymization rules so that the fine history shows up for patrons.

I'd like to discover who returned an overdue item, I thought going into the item record would be the path but can't see it.
