Thanks Lesley!  That did offer a clue.  On the request tab it says it's not holdable for resource sharing so now I know what I need to change.

Hi Stephanie,

What happens when you put the ILL Patron and Gladiator Barcode into the Fulfillment Configuration Utility?

That should give some clues.

Does it say Requestable?

Hi,

I'm having a hard time figuring out why I can't place a hold on media items with my interlibrary loan patron account in Alma.  I've checked the ILL policy and I've checked the media policy and they both look right to me.  I've also looked at the ILL patron record to make sure that was set up right.

When trying to place a hold using the Interlibrary Loan patron, I can't place a hold for materials that are located at the Whidbey Island Campus or the Mount Vernon campus.  The interlibrary loan patron is based in the Mount Vernon Campus library.

Whenever I try to put a hold on media items (meaning DVDs/Videos) and select "Interlibrary Loan" as the requester a message comes up that says "no items available for the request due to policy."

I'm not sure where I should be looking.  Everything looks right to me.  Examples I've tried to use are the movie "Gladiator" which is located at the Whidbey Island Campus and "White Christmas" which is located at the Mount Vernon campus.  I do a title search using a Physical Items search for these movies and then click the request button that is available on the right side of the record.
