[Wactclc-alma] Question about sets

OK. Great. Thanks, Gerie!

I got as far as exporting the analysis to the excel file, but when I tried to add it to the set I created it gave me the header error again. It sounds like I need to change the header of the barcode column to read BARCODE in order to get this to work. Will go do that now.

Elena

Hi Elena: Shellie sent this on 09/25:

Yes, you can make an itemized set out of an Analytics result set.

Export the barcodes to an Excel file, then create the set from that file.

Under Manage Sets, choose Add a set.

Be sure use the correct column header in the Excel file. If it's a file of barcodes then the header (the first line of the file) must be BARCODE.

I can't answer (yet) about getting the "Duplicate" functionality to correctly record that "Item Policy".

Update. I created the list I wanted using Analytics. Can I turn an Analysis into a set?

Thanks,

Elena

This sender failed our fraud detection checks and may not be who they appear to be. Learn about spoofing<http://aka.ms/LearnAboutSpoofing>

I watched a video today about how to opt groups of employees out of notices. I'm hoping that I can create a set of all of our employees and then run a job on that set so that they are opted out of notices without having them have to do this themselves.

However, when I try to create a set of employees (I had to export all employees into excel, then filter to User Group of Employees because for some reason, you can't just create a list filtered by user group), when I got to Add Contents from File to Set (it's an itemized set), it won't let me. I get this error: Header line in input file is missing an ID column. Supported IDs are: OTHER_ID_4, OTHER_ID_3, OTHER_ID_2, OTHER_ID_1, BARCODE, USERNAME, UNIV_ID

I'm guessing that's because the ID column didn't get exported, but I can't see how to do that. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks,

Elena
