Hi all:

Re: the question we had about Alma showing two holdings for an item when it is in a temporary location. The answer, is no, that can’t be suppressed. We’d have to put in an enhancement request.  See response below…

I have consulted with several colleagues and the only way to suppress your permanent holdings would be to do so manually. To do so with a set or a job would be outside Alma's current functionality.

Description:
Is there any way that the permanent holdings record can be suppressed from view in Alma when a temporary location is assigned? Our staff are getting extremely confused when they call up a record and see two holdings records for what they know is one item...
