[Wactclc-alma] suppressing bib records

Hi Nina,

Thanks so much for your email! I should have specified that I'm only importing (that may be the wrong word) a brief bib directly from Amazon through the "Item Search in Amazon" function when I order the item. This brief bib is automatically suppressed from discovery, but we would like it to be discoverable as soon as we order it. The actual MARC record is imported at a later stage by our cataloger.

Hi, Louise,

Are you bringing in the records through an Import Profile?

You can go to Resources>Import> Manage Import Profiles.
Choose your profile's name (Amazon?) and click edit from the ellipse pull-down menu (in the new UI).
Then check the Set Management Tags tab, and see if the "Suppress record/s from publish/delivery" box is checked.

Does that get you what you need?

We've decided not to suppress our bib records from discovery before they're available, but for some reason when I choose to add an item via Amazon it automatically suppresses the bib. Is there a way I can change this setting?
