GHC moved over to the new platform and it was a pretty smooth transition. We had to change some links and proxy settings, but nothing overly complicated.

We were contacted for this upgrade last October, but asked to be rescheduled. Our Primo handoff was imminent, and we didn't want to muddy the waters about the implementation decisions we had been making. So we're also interested in knowing if anyone in the group has made this upgrade, and if so, how it went.

Hello Tara, John, and Frank,

My name is Jeff Cutler, and I work as the Sr. Training and Consulting Partner for ProQuest in our western region.  I am contacting you in regard to your upgrade to our all new ebook platform, ProQuest Ebook Central, which is taking the place of ProQuest ebrary.  Your upgrade is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 11:00a.m. U.S. Pacific Time.  You are scheduled to upgrade to Ebook Central in a single step process.

If you have questions regarding your upgrade, please feel free to contact me.  I would be happy to discuss training options for you and your library colleagues.  This could include scheduling a meeting via WebEx to review Ebook Central end user functionality, and administrative functionality in the newly expanded LibCentral administrative portal.
