[Wactclc-alma] End of Term Due Dates

Thank you Lesley!

We did have the end of the term added to the calendar and when checking out books to students today (three week checkout), the due date was 3-27-17.

However, I did add Spring Break to our calendar based on your screenshot and now things are working as expected (due date 3-22-17).  So thank you especially for the screenshot!!!

As an aside.  These items have "move forward" defined in their TOU tables so it seems like the due date should actually be 4-3-17, anyone know why my thinking is wrong there?

I am also super confused/frustrated by this.

We have an "End of Winter Quarter" Event in our Alma calendar, and yet, books with three-week checkouts are now due 4/3.

Hello All -

I'm probably missing something super easy, but....

In Voyager we were able to set due dates to be a specific time period (three weeks, one week, whatever the standard was for that item) or end of term, whichever was sooner, so that as we approached the end of the quarter items almost all items would check out with a due date of the last day of finals.

We have items that check out with an end of term due date but that's different than this conundrum in that those items are always due the last day of the term even if they are checked out on the first day of the quarter.  I was thinking we might need to approach this by putting in a longer closing period in our calendar but the TOU for most items is set to give them the lengthened due date (which we don't want to neccesarily change) and would then make things due on the first day of next quarter.

So, am I missing something easy?
