[Wactclc-alma] quick analytics follow-ups from this morning's (Dec 19) leads' call

I've created a sample report at:

      /shared/Community/Reports/Consortia/WACTCLC/Items with "Last Loan Date" more than 3 Years Ago

Which you can use to generate a report of items not circulated in your library in at least 3 years.

The report uses the 'physical items' subject area, and filters on 'last loan date' and 'item creation date', and also includes items with no circulation.

You can change the '-3' you see in the report criteria (which represents 3 years before current date) to a different year offset, like '-2' or '-4', to report on a different period.

I'll write these up in the show notes, but just for quick follow-up:

Patrons with blank email addresses

You can find patrons with blank email addresses by using the 'Users' subject area, and filtering on:

"Preferred Email" is null

"Preferred Email" can be found in the "Preferred Contact Information" folder.

Weeding items by last circulation date (for Voyager items as well)

               You can find items that have not circulated since a specific date by using the "Physical Items" subject area, and filtering on:

"Last Loan Date" < some date

So, if you wanted items that have not circulated since 1/1/2015, you could use:

               "Last Loan date" < 1/1/2015

Also, NOTE, for Voyager sites, the last loan dates from Voyager are also in "Last Loan Date", so filtering in this way is valid for items last circulated before, as well as after, your Alma migration.
