[Wactclc-alma] Manage Collections?

I had logged back out and back in and it made no difference. I looked at it this morning and when I click on Add top-level collection, I still am given a screen with no editable fields.
I went back and added the "operator" role and now it works. One would think that the "extended" role would cover it, but whatever.

Thank you! My librarians are very excited to use this.

Very nice. That looks like more recent functionality in Alma.

Nicole, did you log out and back in to Alma, for the new roles to take effect. (That's a requirement when adding or removing roles to an account.)

I just gave myself the Collection Inventory roles at Bellevue, and was able to create a collection, called 'syfy'.

Also, try giving yourself both the 'operator' and 'operator extended' roles. That's what I did on my account. May not matter, but won't hurt either.

(The 'download collection as EAD' functionality is pretty interesting. Allows you to create EAD finding aids right out of Alma. Which definitely seems like recent functionality, since support for EAD records has been on their product roadmap, but this is the first I've seen of it in the released product.)

One of my librarians is interested in using the Managing Collections features to create make lists of books with a certain theme.
I found this document online about creating sets: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Product_Documentation/Alma_Online_Help_(English)/Resource_Management/050Inventory/050Managing_Collections

It says that you need to have the Collection Inventory Operator Extended role to manage sets. I made sure that she had it (and I did too).

When I go to Resource Management > Search and Sets > Manage Collections, I have a button that says "Add Top Level Collection" but when I click on the button it doesn't allow me to enter any data, and then if I try to save it gives me errors that say mandatory field are empty. I've looked around and can't see any other configurations that I need to do to make this work. Have anyone had success using this feature? Here's a screen shot.
