<p>We know that you are hearing a great deal of news about Executive Orders freezing regulations and potentially dismantling the U.S. Department of Education. We want to be very clear with our members that the Professional Licensure federal regulations and
State Authorization federal regulations remain effective. These regulations are not subject to any freeze and will remain legal obligations until there is a new rulemaking amending regulations or Congress making a change to the HEA. We are concerned that
some folks may believe responsibilities have been curtailed. We need to remember to continue providing important student protections.<o:p></o:p></p>
