Fragility</span></strong><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black"> pre-conference workshop in the agenda is designed for faculty and staff of color; however, any faculty or staff who would like to support the mission of the
conference at their institution is welcome to attend. Attendees of the White Fragility pre-conference workshop will receive a better understanding of how our society leads to white fragility and provide dialogue for more constructive cross-racial interactions.

The conference will kick off with a keynote by Olmeca. Olmeca is a community activist and university lecturer at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and guest lecturer throughout the U.S. including Notre Dame, University of Indiana, UIPUI, Puget Sound University
to name a few. Olmeca is also a veteran of the L.A. hip-hop & Chicanx music scene, Olmeca helped spawn a new trend of bilingual music that celebrates the Latin American diaspora in the United States. Olmeca will be performing during the cultural performances
that will take place 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., on November 1. </span><span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black"><br>

On day two, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Debra Jenkins, Clark College. The panelists include: Sachi Horback & Angel Reyna – Mentoring, Dolly England & Rashida Willard – Employee Resource Groups, Vik Bahl – Faculty & Staff Hiring, Aaron Reader
and Felisciana Peralta – Bias Based Incidents, and Jan Yoshiwara, SBCTC Overview.. There will be a talent show showcasing amazing talent by conference attendees, concurring workshops, vendors, silent auction, and a dance. The conference will conclude with
a keynote by Rosa Clemente. Rosa Clemente is a Community organizer, radio journalist and hip-hop activist. Rosa Clemente has been a community organizer and a featured keynote speaker, panelist and political commentator for over 20 years.</span><span style="font-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black"><br>
