The HR Generalist reports to the Human Resources Deputy of Operations and is a member of a dynamic HR Team.  Responsibilities include providing consultation and guidance to supervisors and managers on classification, recruitment and selection, compensation, and performance management.  The HR Generalist is also responsible for providing advice and consultation to management, employees, and peers regarding sensitive, complex, and critical human resource issues, as assigned; and provides interpretation of agency policy, civil service rules, collective bargaining agreements, and state and federal laws.  This position is located in Tumwater, Washington.  (Recruitment # DOH3883)
