<p class="MsoNormal">My understanding of Okta (which we are not using at Olympic) is that it is a single-sign on (SSO) service that would potentially replace your college’s current single sign on system (ADFS, LDAP, etc.) to access college systems and services,
but it would NOT negate the need for a proxy service (EZproxy, OpenAthens) to continue to authenticate our off campus users into library databases. The SSO and the proxy service work together to authenticate off campus students into our library databases.<o:p></o:p></p>
