As a small place with only one associate dean and one librarian for reference and BI, I act as backup for our librarian. She also does the one-offs and teaches the 2-unit library course.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

someone actually has a reference question and the librarian is not involved. But it’s not huge amounts of time as my librarian is very dependable.

But even though I replaced a full-time position, we have had severe cuts in PT staffing and everyone sort of jumps in wherever needed.
