<p class="MsoNormal">Whatcom CC uses Omeka S and we license server space outside of the college (and outside of our IT department).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We do our own development and management of the software and licensed server space. This is part of our OER work.

<p class="MsoNormal">In all honesty we priced bepress platform before landing on Omeka S. bepress is the ‘Cadillac’ of IR software and they do all the work, you only need to send them the files. Its quite elegant. This is clearly a ‘buy’ solution and one that
was more than we were willing to spend. WCC is under 3000 FTEs and the annual cost four or five years ago was $15K.
