<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Hello LLC! I'm writing to let you know that I will be leaving my position at TCC, as well as librarianship and higher ed. I know that this may be a shock to many of you. Believe me, the decision
was not an easy one! Over the 7 years that I've been in the WA system, I have been blessed with wonderful colleagues. Honestly, it took me a while to warm up to the system. I came from Oregon where community colleges operate very autonomously - every college
for themselves! At first, I was a little confused by the system here in WA and the purpose of this group. But obviously, that's changed over the years. I've come to really value LLC. You serve to support each other in so many ways, and I think being in a system
together only strengthens what we do!<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">My decision to leave is, well, personal. I've devoted many years to libraries and higher education. While difficult to leave this path, life is short, and I find myself looking for a new challenge
in life and a new kind of path. I'll also be moving north with my partner and starting a new life together. So, it's this "life" vortex, I guess you could say, and it's just the right time for me to step away, especially since the job of Dean over the library/elearning
at TCC was posted very recently. Transition is in the air!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
