<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">We have a LAPP 3 doing the work Gerie described. She used to be classified as a 4, but there was wonkiness some years back with a statewide reclassification and she was bumped down to a 3. Our
HR department is holding firm on that (they seem to be of a mind that the description for a LAPP 4 devalues/negates the role of a library director), which is a bit frustrating. We have an extremely small team--2 full time faculty librarians (one in Wenatchee,
one in Omak), 2 LAPP 3s, and one LAPP 2. All the LAPPs are in Wenatchee, so Omak depends on work study student support for additional help, which is tricky for a number of reasons.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
